Photographing Asher and Jennifer was so much fun. They were excited that I was playing around with different cameras, and I couldn't have asked for a more "do whatever you want" photo shoot! Here is the film I took that day, all on my Holga with Kodak Portra 400NC 120 film.
All of the photos are now available online HERE, with a great selection on my website HERE.
My favorite!: On Baby Rollei with Efke R100 BW 127 film
I plan on the film I take at a shoot/wedding to no longer be an afterthought in the editing process. This is an interesting process, so it will take time to iron out all of the details!
I've been really excited about getting back into film a little bit here and there lately. It has been wonderful to play around with different cameras and relearn the basics of my art! I've done very little with film since high school, and back then it was all I did! I loved working in the dark room and find what I learned from hands-on developing invaluable to my photography today.
So here are the photos of us and some friends. So excited!
Taken on my Baby Rollei with Efke R100 BW 127 film: (David took those first two.) Our lovely friends, Tommie and Alisa, and their beautiful little girl, Liliana. They have since welcomed baby Truett to the family.
Our garden on my Holga with Kodak Portra 400NC 120 film.
The rest were taken on a disposable underwater camera. They're from our trip to Sanibel and then a trip to Tallahassee a couple weeks later. Sanibel: (for whatever reason, Flickr is keeping my original sized vertical photos as horizontals, but the smaller ones are flipped, so I'm using those. Not liking the inconsistent sizing, so sorry!)
We (mostly David) worked on a video this past week. It's from July and August of this year. Since the beginning of the video, Tova has learned to crawl, sit, stand, take a few steps while holding onto furniture, gotten two bottom teeth, and been to Georgia. She's an amazing little girl and her personality is too cute and silly for words.
