Happy Summer Solstice yesterday! As we get into warmer weather, I'll be looking back over the spring. The next several posts will be of our adventures around the Pacific Northwest. Many center around the beautiful flowers up here. I just love it! Every time you get sad because a certain set of flowers are dying (cherry blossoms, tulips), a new plant begins to bloom. It has been wonderful. Peonies are blooming now. Lavender is starting to show its purple. And hydrangeas are popping up here and there. This is a truly beautiful state.
